Cheryl was part of my growing up at Morningside and we were both in Jean Holt's Fourth Grade Class together along with Debbie Michael and Rachelle Galanti. Jean Holt was an amazing and inspiring teacher who influenced Cheryl, Debbie, and Rachelle to seek careers in education. After recess, Jean would read some of the Classics to us. She also assigned the future Educators Rachelle and perhaps, Debbie and Cheryl the task of keeping one or our more active boys in the class from crawling out of the window! Cheryl joined all of us in Jean Holt's class in sending Jean birthday cards on many of Jean's birthdays.
