He was born in Charlotte, North Carolina, the second child of four children born to William Bellinger and Elenora Dolly Katz. Ralph graduated from Grady High School, Atlanta, Georgia where he excelled in sports such as football and competitive diving. Ralph graduated from Grady High School, Atlanta, Georgia where he excelled in sports such as football and competitive diving. He is survived by his daughter, Ellyn Lindsey Bellinger, Miami, Florida; his father William Bellinger, stepmother, Joyce Bellinger, Roswell, Georgia; brothers Joel Bellinger, Georgia; Neal Bellinger, Florida sister Gail Wiemer, Georgia; niece Megan Wiemer, nephews Lewis Wiemer and Jake Bellinger.
Proceeded in death by his mother Ellenora Dolly Katz Maynard, and grandparents Hazel and Jay Katz, Atlanta, Georgia.
