Eileen was my life long friend and she is dearly missed. Her life ended more than a year before her death when she fell in her home and severed her spinal cord. She was courageous and loved during this difficult period. Her partner Terry never left her side. From Florida,I was able to visit Eileen four times during this tragedy. She maintained such beauty and enjoyed humor until the end. Old friends and classmates were able to visit her as well: Laurie Freeman Gidlow, Janie Friedman Bitterman, Robyn Mazier Haber, and Susan Candell Kaplan - your visits meant so much.
