Polcat and I were "running buddies" (not jogging) in our Grady days. We did a lot, shared a lot, and got into a lot. As life went on we lost contact but reunited the last few years, mainly at AB's gathering at 5 Paces. We shared cigars, drinks (Andy usually insisted on paying), and plenty of old stories, none of which could be repeated to our grandchildren. Losing him is like losing a piece of my life's history. Well, at least I've got the old stories and memories of great times. I'm sure there's a lot of us that could say the same.

Andy and I used to get into mischief on Friday nights on Helen Dr. Memories made during teen-age years last forever. When I think about Andy, its all good memories.

Andy and I shared a cell together at the Atlanta Penitentiary. I will never be able to thank him enough for the escape he outlined that somehow worked! He was wonderful, he was such a sport and would never let me pick up the check. Anyway, I hope he sees this.

Ladies and Gentlemen!
As it has been for some time for each of us, every day from here on out is a Holiday. I look so forward to all of us attending our 60th and am saddened Andy will not be there. Good man, good friend. Marlene and I will miss his humor and I will miss his offering of a good cigar each time we would see eachother. Our prayers and deepest sympathy go out to his family during this most difficult time.

Andy was present at both David Smedley's and Don Cooper's Memorial Services. He started a new tradition of toasting our classmates with some very fine whiskey. Of course, bought and paid for by, Andy. I understand the family will have a service for Andy in August and will let you know the date and place. John Wall is bringing the Whiskey. Andy was always a solid friend and cared about each of us through out our days together at M'side and Grady. We wil miss him at the 60th Reunion, but look forward to the stories.
