Mary cut across every social group in our class. If you wanted to know who was doing what, who was dating who, Mary was the person to go to. Her phone (that old kind) rang off the hook. She was the facebook of our time. Mary liked everyone and I don't recall her speaking ill of anyone. She was a good person. Her battle with cancer was long and suffered much. Mary was a close friend. She was diagnosed with Breast, Throat and Lung cancer a year ago this month. She went through treatment and fought the good fight until the throat cancer came back. She endured a 12 hour surgery to remove the tumor and rebuild her throat and unfortunately died at home 2 weeks later. May her Memory Be Eternal!
