Dear Morehouse Men from the Class of 1973,
The College is gearing up to welcome back all reunion 2018 classes to campus. We will join the others as we celebrate our 45th Reunion in Atlanta on May 18 -20, 2018. We are already actively making plans for our class. Here’s an update:
-
The Class of 1988 won the “Morehouse Defending Tiger 4 Life Recurring Gift” Challenge, which provides us a free tent for Homecoming 2018.
-
The Class of 1973 has a fundraising goal of $80,000 for Reunion 2018, which we are confident we can exceed.
Give, no matter the amount at http://morehouse.getyams.com by clicking on the word 'give' in the upper right-hand corner. Select 'Reunion Classes' from the Category drop-down menu and then select '1973' from the Group drop-down menu. Follow the prompts from there.
Become a Defending Tiger 4 Life by setting up your recurring gift at https://morehouse.getyams.com/ (Any amount is appreciated).
Check with your employer for matching contribution programs and click here for more information http://www.matchinggifts.com/rit.
We encourage as many of you as possible to attend Reunion this year. Please review the enclosed brochure, fill out and return or visit the college’s website at http://morehouse.edu/reunion for more details. Mark your calendar for May 18 -20, 2018. The registration fee for Reunion weekend is $250 if paid by March 31, 2018; thereafter, the fee is $275. Get the Early Bird special.
We are looking forward to making this reunion memorable and reaching our class goals in giving and participation.
On behalf of the Office of Alumni Engagement and Giving, we would like to welcome you back to “The House” for Reunion 2018, and we appreciate your continued support.
I hope to see you all soon.
Take care,
James Dopson Louie McClure

"We celebrated our 40th class reunion in 2013, and I've been back to every homecoming except one. The first year after I graduated I didn't come back; I was trying to make a living! We've been back ever since, wouldn't miss it for anything." —Samuel Williams, Morehouse Class of 1973
