Ralph Eugene Stegall

Graveside services for Mr. Ralph Eugene Stegall, 63, of Highway 19 North, were held Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2007, at 1 p.m., at Crestlawn Memorial Park, with Elder Kurt Bacon officaiting.

Mr. Stegall died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2007, at Upson Regional Medical Center.

Coggins Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Stegall was born on Dec. 25, 1943, in Fulton County, Ga., to the late Sidney E. and Mary Alice Warnock Stegall. He served his country in the United States Army, having retired after more than 20 years of dedicated service. He then retired from the General Motors Plant in Lakewood, Ga., with over 13 years of service.

Survivors include his daughters, Ms. Cassandra Lynn Stegall of Thomaston and Mrs. Tina Marie Houze of Virginia; a sister, Mrs. Shirley (Sam) Blackstock of Ellenwood; caregivers, Terri Smith and Jennifer Bales, both of Thomaston; and four grandchildren.
