Betty Backus (Martin)

Nancy was my dearest friend up until the day she died.  We both were very close & had a very common goal.

To fight for children!  Nancy fought for children with Autism.  I fight for children who have been abused

sexually.  We fought for children in the courts, in the legislation of laws and with the people who 

helped them!  It was not an easy fight sometimes, but we encouraged, parents, grandparents, teachers and 

anyone who loved them.  Then we encouraged one another!  I loved her like a Sister!  I will miss her more than

I can possible explain on paper.  God Bless her family, our family that loved her so much, and especially all

those who depended on her help all the time; which would go on for pages.  I love you Nancy & will for sure

see you in Heaven.  Betty Backus Martin
