Joan Youmans Gibbs was my best and most loyal friend from elemenary school, high school and thoughout our adult lives. I have many fond memories
of our good times together. We always had fun whether at church, school or in the neighborhood. I had the pleasure of keeping in touch with Joan during
our adult lives. I often speak fondly of visiting Joan and Butch in their beautiful home on the Causeway in St. Petersburg. We actually sailed from their
backyard right out into the Gulf. My 11 year old son at the time was ecstatic. The most memorable time together was getting together with our mothers for
lunch at Mrs. Youmans home at Lake Lanier. We spent the entire day catching up on everything. I will miss you my dear friend. Rest in Peace.
