Rick passed on Monday February 7, 2011 at 9:37 p.m. Rick has surprised, touched, loved, and battled his life. He was a strong open hearted kind person that touched lots of people. Ricks greatest accomplishment was being the first paraplegic to climb Slate Peak. Climbing and training were Ricks passion along with his art. Rick enjoyed fishing, his favorite fish to chase was steelhead, because they were fighters just like himself, and they were challenging to find. Ricks favorite past time besides fishing was watching football and fishing, he also loved music. Rick is survived by his mother and sister.
