Charlene passed away on December 19, 2005 after being hit by a car when crossing a highway. She had just celebrated her 36th birthday a few days before. She is survived by her 3 children, father, mother, sister, and nephews.
I am SO saddened by this news. I had no idea... Charlene was beautiful, vibrant and was always incredibly kind to me. My heart goes out to her family, friends and loved ones.
This was a sad day for me a while back when I got this news. Charlene was so beautiful and full of life...and to be honest, full of "it" Come on guys...if you knew her well, you know she would want someone to remember her for her sense of humor. Charlene was a clown, she was so much fun . I will always remember her funny personality and helping her to rush to build her a "face" in the bathroom before school started. She is missed, and will always be missed. My prayers and thoughts are with her family and other friends.
I am in SHOCK.... I was just thinking about Charlene the other day and wondering where she was. Now I know! I can remember when she moved to Salt Lake City, UT. I was so upset that she was leaving. She didn't stay gone long. She came back when we were in the fifth grade. After contacting me, she spent the night and I brought her to school with me the next day to visit everyone. She will be missed by many. I only wish we would have had a reunion sooner.
I have many fond memories of Charlene, especially our time in Hawaii together with the AHS Band. I remember the day we went to the beach in Hawaii and trying to boogy board and surf. She had such a great smile. She will be greatly missed.
