This was my sweet , wonderful cousin. He was his own man.
Some of you knew him only by the sharp black mustang with the hot pink stripe....yep...that was him.
He was a lovely human being full of love and is missed daily.
Larry was so kind, and he was one of those people that was too good for this earth. Sure...he could be full of crap...he told stories about me all the time just to get me pissed off. He would yarn sometimes about things just to make them more interesting. But all kids do that, at least those with imaginations. But he was really to sweet for this world.
Larry would take off in the mornings some weekends and do his rounds. He would go by each and every Aunt, Uncle, Cousin and old friends house just to pop in and say hello. He would really just come in jump inside leaving his car radio as loud as it could go and say "hey...anybody home!!! Just wanted to make sure you knew I loved you" then he would still a kiss and run off.
We lived not to far from each other and saw each other at family things...but still, I NEVER EVER passed him in the car that we wouldn't stop, turn around and run out to give each other a hug and kiss.
I remember when I was dateing Dwayne Reeves and he would get so mad cause he could never get through the phone lines because I would be on the phone with Larry for hours. Talking about cars and racing and the pretty girls he thought were out of his league. Most of which, he was too good for anyway. But he did snag a couple of real q-t's. He never really liked any of my boyfriends, he just tolerated them.
The night he died was one of the worst nights of my life. We were so close that I truley believe he came and said good bye to me before he went to Heaven and no one can tell me different.
If you didn't know him or you never took the time to give him the time of day...you missed out on one of the better human beings in this world.
"Hey...little Larry, I just wanted to make sure you knew I loved you soooooooooo very much, I'm sure you and my momma had alot of catching up to do"
God Bless you and I miss you so badly,
Allie Sue
