From what I am able to find .... Allan went to Edendale Primary and Balmoral Intermediate before MAGS. Allan was journalist in Wellington New Zealand. He also spent three years house-sitting a villa - at Villa San Clemente - near Sinalunga, Tuscany with his wife Nancy. He is the author of two books about his time in Tuscany - Seasons in Tuscany and Ciao Tuscany
