Thanks for sharing your photos, Ly. For those of us who weren't able to attend all of the events of the weekend, it's good for us to see what we missed out on.

Hats off to everyone on the planning committee. A lot of hard work leading up to a first class event. Everything was top-notch.

For those of you who went to Garrett Elementary: They are going to tear the school down in a few weeks. I think there is an open house on May 22nd for those who want to tour the school before they start the demolition.

Noooooooooooooooooooooooo...................!!!!!!!!!!!!
So sad, so many memories.
Mrs. Isbester, Mrs. Toombs, Mrs. Jay - anyway else remember when the boys set her table on fire with alcohol???
Mr. Penny's son Joe - now that was a lunch time treat - had to hold the English teachers back!
The little room where they did the EIP testing...
Spaghetti suppers...
Christmas concerts - I still have the tree I stood behind...
Field day
etc.
etc.
etc.

Does anyone remember that substitute teacher that was as old as Father Time himself. Her name was Miss Bazoness. And when we behaved well she said "It was like Heaven on Oith (Earth)." The rumor mill said that one day she bent over to put something into the garbage can and her wig fell off. I never believed the story but it was fun to imagining it happening. I also remember when Hiram Boersma and I think Scott Gay used the outside Air Conditioning units to climb up on the roof. And one day I was running around on the playground at full speed and I ran over Jennifer Conrad. We hit our heads. I didn't go to the nurse. I remember seeing them pick poor Jennifer up off the ground. I was in a daze for the rest of the afternoon. Honestly, I think I had a concussion. I was more worried about getting my ass kicked by her boyfriend pretty boy Kyle Yates. On another subject, do any of the Warren Road people know whatever happened to Miss Jan Stutts or where she might be now?

Randall,
Are you sure about the date for Garrett? I will actually be in Augusta that w/e for my cousins wedding. I would love to take my children by to show them where I went to school.

Originally, I got it the following Monday from Miss McGahee. She hadn't thrown it away yet and I wanted it as a momento from my senior year. It was the only day I was brave enough to cut. Spent the day at the lake as I recall.

I remember I had it out showing my nephew and he accidently spilled some Coke on it(hence the stains). I moved a few weeks ago and was going through some stuff to throw away and came across it. I figured everyone would get a kick out of seeing it.

I wish I had found it before the reunion instead of after.

Oh...there were a few more who went to school. I know one who had to go or not graduate. Missed too many days already.
