What a tragedy! Lee and I were born 15 minutes apart at the University hospital on May 4th 1969. Cleo, her mother, and my mother were friends and typically arranged to celebrate our childhood birthdays together. There is a picture of us in our senior annual on our first birthday together. She was a wonderful person and is truly missed.

I still think about Lee from time to time. She was my first friend in third grade when I was a new student at Garrett Elementary. We grew up together; attended Girl Scouts, had sleepovers and were best friends until we started to grow apart in high school. I named my oldest daughter with the middle name Elizabeth, after Lee's first name. She was an absolutely wonderful, kind person and she is truly missed to this day.

Lee was my life long friend. We met in first grade and remained best friends through college. Over the years I have remained close with Tim, Cleo and Paige. This past fall we had a very nice service in remembrance of Lee. It marked the 20th anniversary of her death. It was very nice to see all of Lee's friends come and pay tribute to a loyal friend. Like Kerri, I too named my daughter after Lee, Annalee Elizabeth.
Lee will always be missed.
Carrie
