AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Bernard J. "Buz" Mulherin, Jr., 43, of Augusta, entered into rest on Saturday, June 22, 2002, at his residence. Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, June 25, 2002 at 12noon, at Saint Mary on the Hill Catholic Church, with the Rev. P. James Costigan and Rev. John Lyons, officiating. Interment will follow at Westover Memorial Park. Mr. Mulherin was a native of Augusta, and a graduate of Richmond Academy. He is survived by one son, Joseph Mulherin of Augusta; three grandchildren, Bernard Joseph Mulherin IV, Pamela Mulherin, and Hannah Mulherin; his parents, Barbara Grealish Mulherin and Judge Bernard J. Mulherin Sr., of Augusta; two sisters, Ashlyn M. Hutto and Mary Anne M. McCollum, both of Augusta; two brothers, Edward G. Mulherin of Atlanta, and John G. Mulherin of Statesboro; along with several nieces and nephews. The Holy Rosary will be recited Monday, June 24, 2002, at 7p.m., at the funeral home with the family to receive friends following until 9p.m. Platts Funeral Home, 721 Crawford Avenue, Augusta, 733-3636.
