Leon Greene, Jr., 38 of Montgomery, formerly of Aurora, passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2007 at Rush-Copley Medical Center. He was born on January 20, 1969 in Aurora.
Leon is survived by his wife, Melissa (Sotelo); children, Katherine, Leon III, Andrew, Kevin, Deon, David Greene, Samantha and Christopher Cook; mother, Wila (Rey) Figueroa; father, Leon Greene Sr; sisters, Victoria (Mike) Stapelton, Sharon Greene and Lisa (Nick) Larrabee; grandmothers, Mary Lou Newell and Annie Greene; grandparents, Hipolito (Florence) Figueroa; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Franklin and Dorothy Spann; great-grandparents, Viola Payton and William Greene.
Leon was an East Aurora High School Graduate and attended Aurora University. He worked in the retail and restaurant business for 19 years and currently worked as store director at Circuit City in Oswego.
