Joey Jay Knopp, 43 of Montgomery, IL passed away suddenly Wednesday, August 7th, 2013 at Rush-Copley. Joey is survived by his beloved girlfriend of 14 years, JoLynn Gingrey; his loving son, Cody Knopp of Florida; brothers, Scott (Sandra) Knopp of Plainfield, IL, Jason Knopp of Sterling, IL; sister, Michelle (Joel) Flores of Texas; nephew, Aaron Knopp of Plainfield, IL; uncle, Tom Knopp of Montgomery, IL. He was preceded in death by his mother Sherry Knopp; brother, Timothy Knopp, and his father, Terry Knopp. Joey will be remembered as one of the greatest transmission builders ever! He will be greatly missed by many friends, especially his dog Roxy.
