Kuter, Frank G. 44, of Wilmington, passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at his home. He was born March 12, 1967 in Aurora. Frank attended West Aurora High School and served in the United States Navy. As an operations specialist for the Navy, he participated in search and salvage operations for the space shuttle Challenger in Florida. He was employed with Exelon Corporation for the past five years. Frank had a very strong faith and was devoted to God and reading the Bible. He was very creative and wrote many poems and songs. He also loved playing the drums. Frank enjoyed being outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, working on cars and walking his dogs. Frank is survived by his father, Frank Kuter of Aurora; his daughter, Amanda Kuter of Aurora; his sister, Beth Baty of Dekalb; one niece, Natasha; one nephew, Nicholas; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his mother, Penny (Cribbet) Kuter, and his grandparents, Henry and Yvonne Kuter and Douglas and Betty Cribbet. Friends and family will meet at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 6, 2011 at Calvary Chapel in Naperville, and a memorial service will begin at 11:00 am. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Spinal Cord Tumor Association, www.spinalcordtumor.org.
