Jackie passed away at the age of 45  around 1992 after a battle with melanoma.  She was carrying her 6th child and did not want treatment while she was pregnant.  The baby girl was born healthy, but Jackie died shortly there after.

Jackie had a love for music and a beautiful singing voice.  Besides singing in the a cappella choir at West High and New England Congregational Church, she was able to pass her love of music on to her six children teaching them all voice and piano.

Consequently, one of her granddaughters is a very successful professional musician, and the others enjoy music very much.  Many who knew Jackie will remember not only her angelic singing voice but also her cheerful personality and her beautiful smile.
