Louise died suddenly on March 6, 2010.
She graduated from U of I Medical School and did her residency in internal medicine at what was then Cook County Hospital. She married and moved to Northern California. For a short time she had a solo practice, but spent most of her career working at Vacaville State Prison, the only prison in CA (at least at that time) to have a hospital within the prison. During her career, she had several papers published.
She had two sons, Jeffrey and Christopher.

Louise died suddenly on March 6 2010. Her son's fiancee, Maria, called me to notify me of her death. Louise and I first met at Greenman School and remained friends until her passing..

She had two sons, Jeffrey and Christopher. The last time I saw her was in the 90s when I traveled to San Francisco, and visited her and the boys in Berkeley. She took us on a cable car tour of SF.
In lieu of sending Christmas cards, she would always call me between Christmas and New Year's, and we would spend a long time catching up on our lives over the past year. I still miss that annual phone call. She was a great friend.
