I sent to school in Norway for a year before college, graduated from Luther in January 1994, then spent 18 months in Zaire teaching. I've lived in Minneapolis ever since, volunteering as a bicycling advocate and supporting local communities. I visited Memphis for two years to get a graduate degree, and now run a state-wide sustainable (and affordable) housing program. I also own and manage a 4-unit apartment building in Uptown.
