Lance and I used to torture Miss Holloway during English at Westwood...we were always cutting up and making our lips do that little thing that she always did with hers. I would smart off to him and he would punch me (in a kidding way but it would hurt like hell). I also remember we were at a party one time when it got "busted" Lance and I ran and were both going to hide in a closet; I got to it first but he came up behind me and yanked me out of the way by my pencil-thin, I mean python-like, arm and left me in the hall scrambling to find another hiding spot...none-the-less, we all got busted that time. Lance, you are missed greatly and will always be remembered.

Right on, Marc. I remember meeting Lance when he was the new kid at Grisham M.S. We struck up a close friendship there throughout Grisham, and ran into each other often at WW. At A&M I ran into him a number of times there when he played with the Fightin' Texas Aggie Football Team (WHOOP!). The last time I saw him was when I was a senior at A&M and he and the team were doing their night-before-the-game movie. I think we were going to see The Doors. Jeez. He was a great guy and I remember feeling both sad and nostalgic when I first heard this news back in '04.

He was a good guy. They say only the good die young and this is one more example.

I probably got to know Lance better at Texas A&M, where he was a football star following high school. He always looked out for us "WW" girls when we were out and about in College Station. A real big brother figure. I remember being shocked at the news of his and his wife's passing. He will be missed.
