Fran Wolsch (Clendening)

Mary Francis Clendening, lovingly known as Fran Clendening; passed away at the age of 61 on Thursday, April 2, 2015.
 

Fran was born July 21, 1953 in Austin, Texas. She graduated from McCallum High School in 1971, and received a bachelor's degree from St. Edward's University and her teaching certificate from the University of Texas at Austin. She taught kindergarten for 26 years in the Leander School District at Cypress Elementary and had just recently retired.
 

Nothing made Fran happier than spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who never missed an opportunity to show her family how much she loved them. She loved to travel and was always up for a new adventure, whether that meant exploring thrift stores in San Antonio, visiting many, many amusement parks, camping, white water rafting, snorkeling in the Pacific, or trying to see all of Paris in one day.

Fran was preceded in death by her beloved husband Grady Clendening. She is survived by her brother JamesWolsch and wife Wanda Wolsch, her son Jeffrey Peschka and wife Noelle Peschka and daughters Heather DeGrendele and husband Tim DeGrendele, Kelly Bowen and husband Todd Bowen, Katherine McClellan and husband Sam McClellan, and Michelle Cordray and husband Kevin Cordray. She has 9 grandchildren: Christopher, Caroline, Julianne, Brendan, Layton, Taylor, Isabella, Liliana, and Clara. A

Celebration of Fran's Life will be held on Sunday, April 12 from 2:30-4:30pm at the Cedar Park Recreation Center, 1435 Main Street, Cedar Park, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Starfish Cat and Kitten rescue, a small nonprofit organization that meant the world to Fran.
