Robin Arbogust (Temple)

Robin Leonora Arbogust Temple1953-2015Robin Leonora Arbogust Temple, 62, went to be with Jesus on December 24, 2015.

Robin was of the utmost divine faith, and it was fitting that she entered the Kingdom of Heaven on Christmas Eve. Robin was born at Elmendorf Air Force Base in Anchorage, Alaska, on December 3, 1953. Robin accepted Jesus into her life at an early age and became a devout Christian and spiritual leader. She carried on her strong Christian beliefs throughout her life. She was most recently a member of The Hilltop International Christian Center in The Woodlands, Texas, and Glory of Zion in Dallas, Texas.

Robin graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from The University of Texas in 1975. She went on to provide service and share her faith with others throughout her life through youth education, elderly care, and ministry. Later in her life, she was a caregiver to elderly citizens in The Woodlands community.In 2005, she received her Certificate of License as a certified minister through Houston Praise and Worship Center. In 2007, she received her Doctor of Divinity through St. George Divinity College in Opelousas, Louisiana. As a pastor and member, she was active at The Hilltop International Christian Center. Prior to her passing, Robin was pursuing a Master of Divinity degree focused on chaplaincy and hospice at the Houston Graduate School of Theology.

Robin was preceded in death by her husband Thomas J. Temple, Jr., and her parents Lt. Colonel Harold O. Arbogust (USAF) and Lee Arbogust.

She is survived by her children: Daniel Temple (Barbara) of Katy, Samuel Temple (Julie) and Anna Temple (Will Speer) of Houston; five grandchildren; her sister Joy Powell of The Woodlands; her brother Harold O. "Arby" Arbogust (Terri) of Richardson, Texas; and, her niece Meredith Powell of Dallas, Texas.One of Robin's favorite scriptures was 2 Kings 4:26 "…all is well", and in times of adversity for others she would always say, "Grace, grace", encouraging them to trust in God's grace and reminding them that He is in control.

A celebration of Robin's life is scheduled for Saturday, January 30, 2016, at 2:00 pm at The Hilltop International Christian Center, 307 Sawdust Road, The Woodlands, Texas, 77380.
