Sharon Elaine Castleberry, our loving, charismatic mother and friend to all whose lives she touched, passed away 7/8/2021. She was surrounded by family guiding and encouraging her to forever leave us to go join the everlasting party with God, Jesus, family and friends. 

Sharon was born in Austin, TX 9/11/52 to Stirling Hughes Mason and Sally Wright Mason who she joins in heaven. She has one sister (and most probably excited to reunite with) Shirley Castleberry welcoming her at the pearly gates. 

She leaves behind 3 Children. Lisa and Trey Robertson of Georgetown, TX. Cirstan and Brian Castleberry of Georgetown, TX, and Crystal and Jack Hall of Elgin, TX. Also 10 Grandchildren that she loved and cherished with all her heart, Logan and Kaylee Robertson of Georgetown and Stirling and Brilee Castleberry of Georgetown. Husband, Jim Nelson and his 3 children Kim and AJ Lewis, Sara and Rey Hidalgo and Nikki and Code Nelson. Grandchildren Jaylen and  Ashton Lewis, Aris and Caleb Nelson, Anya and Salome Hidalgo. And her 2 pups Spot and Sam.

Sharon fought one of the toughest battles with cancer with a positive, determined and beautiful attitude but in the end she was tired and ready to be pain free. She was a young soul and will be missed greatly by all that she met in life but we know she is partying in heaven with all her loved  ones waiting for us to rejoin her one day.

Please join us in a celebration of life at her home property 7/31/2021 starting at noon. Come share your stories and drink a “beverage” in her name because that's how she wanted to be remembered.
