Gray Gibson Fullerton, AKA "Graybo", "Swup", "Cactus Gib"(Bill Steiner gets credit for that one), and "Mondo", lived a very diverse, although way to short of a life. Gray's family and friends will tell you he was one of the nicest guys in the world, and that he would give you the shirt off his back.

During his time on Earth, Gray was a man of many professions. He worked at a grocery store, a mattress shop, was a rodeo tack guy and bull rider with the Steiners, a carpet layer, a tree trimmer, an oil rig worker and an 8th Grade science teacher at Elgin Middle School, east of Austin. His point of reference for everything in his science class was the "This Is It" Bar on Highway 290 East, especially the flight paths of birds migrating north during the spring. He earned his Bachelors and Law Degrees from the University of Texas at Austin, passed the Bar, and became an attorney for a bank and had a private practice.

Gray was also an avid bowler, and was the spiritual leader of the Waxing Gibbous bowling team in the Seymour Classic at Dart Bowl in Austin. When it came to horseshoes, another leisure activity Gray enjoyed, we all remember his famous line, "I smell a ringer"!
