Brandyn Lee Lunsford, 18, and his brother, Matthew Ryan Lunsford, 14, died Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2005, in Azle.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday at Ash Creek Baptist Church in Azle. Burial: Ash Creek Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Ash Creek Baptist Church.

Brandyn was born Feb. 13, 1987, in Wichita Falls and had lived in this area since 1988. He received his second-degree black belt in American karate at the age of 9. He graduated from Azle High School in 2005 and participated in band and on the math and science team for four years. He was to start classes at the University of Texas at Arlington, to major in aerospace engineering. Brandyn was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Blue Mound.
Matthew was born Jan. 10, 1991, in Fort Worth and was a freshman at Azle High School, where he was enrolled in band and on the math and science teams. While on his eighth-grade school trip to Washington, D.C., he represented his class by laying a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. At Azle Junior High School, he was involved in the math and science teams, band, football, track, soccer and the swim team for the YMCA for five years.
Brandyn and Matthew were preceded in death by their grandfathers, William F. Bright Jr. and Ron Lunsford; uncle, Kenny Lunsford; and an aunt, Kim Rakey.
Survivors: Parents, Lee and Donna Lunsford; siblings, Nathaniel, Danielle, Katelyn and Brianna; grandparents, Etusko Bright and Marlene and David Ort; great-grandmother, Grace Steele; aunts and uncles, Ronnie Lunsford, Terry and Kathy Friend, Chuck and Betty Friend, Penny and Steve Comer, Debbie Hartman, Mary and Joe Claiborne, Bill Bright and Monica Guerra, Janet Bright and Gary Curtis, and Jennifer and Jeff Marley; a number of cousins; and extended family.
