Tim: Wow, what happened?  Seems like yesterday he was posting his historical updates for Bakersfield.  I am so sorry to hear this news. We went to his wedding  in 1973 at the Presidio in SF.  I wil. miss him. Much love to Cissy and his family.

Ohhh Tim. He was one of the nicest people you woukd ever want to meet. He was a good friend in high school and was good at seeing how I was doing after my brother Lloyd passed away in '93. Tim will always be fondly remembered and missed. Many prayers for his family.

So very sorry to hear of Tim's passing - such a shock! He was a good friend in High School. I enjoyed German class together and his sense of humor. My thoughts and prayers are with Sissy and his entire family. Rest in peace friend.

What a sad surprise.

I'd noticed that he was no longer reposting interesting items on my FB newsfeed but thought he might just be taking a break.

It's even sadder to learn that he didn't want a funeral.

There's more to this story than we might ever know...

Like others, I was so surprised to hear of Tim's passing.  I guess I thought I would always receive his thoughtful articles and shared news.  I thought I would always see him sparing with Cindy or another random witful comment.

May we stop taking each other for granted and remember that our days are numbered.  I'm not sure if I really thanked him for all of his thoughtfulness.  Thank you Tim and God Bless you and your family!!

Really sorry and surprised to hear this about Tim. Just an all around good guy.

I hope his family is doing well.
