Just a few days after graduation, my folks packed up and moved to Arizona. Willie and his Mom took me in and gave me a home so I could stay in Bakersfield.. I will always be grateful, we made some wonderful memories. Willie was a great man and true friend.

I can remember Willie, Gary Nichols and I getting into Willie's Chevy and driving to one of our three houses making grilled cheese sandwiches almost everyday at lunch. Good times.
