My prayers go out to the whole family. May you know comfort and strength, peace and grace in the days and months ahead. I have not seen Pam since our high school days, but remember the, peace, grace and friendliness that was present wherever she went. May your happy memories be as real as when they first happened and help to carry you through the healing times.
Our deepest sympathies are with the Family during this time of loss. We hope you can find reassurance in the care of your friends and allow the loving memories you have of Pam to help you through this time. It's hard not to wish for one more day, one more word, one more chance to say goodbye, but you should rest assured that you were a wonderful part of Pams life.
I have many fond memories of Pam from High School and Phi Sigma Gamma. She was such a sweet person. We used to call her Lamp Shade, because of the pettycoats and skirts that she would wear to school.
My sincere prayers go out to Pamela's family. She was an absolute joy to know from elementary school days to high school graduation. Pam was always a ray of sunshine when I would see her as we passed through the Crouse/Upstate tunnel to work. She will truly be missed by many.
Wow. I checked the good ole Lyre. Found Pam in the Senior High Honor Society picture on the far left in the front row, next to Bobby Wysocki, three over from Sally Misner, and just down from Birt Evans and Larry Orcutt, I was listed as absent...
Indeed, what a sweetheart she was. She even wrote across her picture in my Lyre. (Goodness! Someone has to either invent a picture you can write over, or a pen that can write over a photo!) The part I could read included wishing me good luck, admonishing me to stay out of trouble and to "remain as sweet and sincere as you are now..." Makes me wonder if she really knew who she was writing about....
But her final words fit her to a tee: "May God bless and keep you always."
And she and the classmates listed above now know more than I ever will about what that really means.
A somber and sacred thing, remembering all our special fellow journey persons through those years at B'ville. Nice that we have this web site.
Thanks for Pam's life, God. Thanks for living it well, Pam.
