Let us solemnly remember the sacrifices of all those who fought so valiantly, on the seas, in the air, and on foreign shores, to preserve our heritage of freedom, and let us reconsecrate ourselves to the task of promoting an enduring peace so that their efforts shall not have been in vain.

-Dwight D Eisenhower

You will always be remembered.

It comes as such a shock to already be loosing one of our own- especially for me being so far away that I had no real opportunity to re-establish contact with Amrendar. So young, so handsome, and so bright...now gone forever...it's hard to accept. I entreat the class of '99, and the IB family especially, to learn from this tragedy. Don't wait until the reunion or the next to connect. Don't take anyone for granted. Love hard, cherish the friendships rooted in those tumultuous years, and discover new joy in old acquaintances who know where we've been because they've been there too. I send his family my deepest condolences and stand in solidarity with his IB family who will be there to bid him farewell.

I just want to say Amrendar was a good friend to me in high school and I am so sad to hear of his passing. I have not seen him in a few years but I never stopped wishing he was doing well for himself. Everytime I close my eyes I see him and I get so sad, but I know time heals the pain and his memory will be with all of us forever. I pray for his family and friends that loved him. I will treasure the good times we had forever. RIP

I saw Amrendar about a year and a half ago at the gym. I was glad to hear he was doing well. I talked to him for almost an hour, just catching up. That's the memory I will keep of him, how friendly he was, how he served this country and how he was doing big things. 27 is way too early to go, way too much life left to live and see. Speaking with Kandi yesterday, just put into perspective how tight our IB family was and how eventhough everyone has different paths, we may not really have the most valid of reasons as to why some of us, myself included, havent reached out to one another in almost TEN years. And that kinda messes me up. OFF MY SOAPBOX. Amrendar, keep looking down and watching out for us. REST IN PEACE HOMIE!

I'm very sad to know that Amrendar is no longer with us. He was a very nice person. I've never seen him lose his temper or his cool. It is a shame that he died so young.

I'm quite saddened by this news. I came back in touch with Amrendar a while back on myspace and he was still the cool, friendly, laid back, guy that I've known since middle school. R.I.P.

Amrendar was a great friend and we all enjoyed his company during our school years. I personally lost touch with many friends from high school, but came across Amrendar when he visited my Subway and liquor store. He asked me if I can hire his brother for a position in Subway. His brother is also a dear friend and colleague and reminds me of his big brother many times.

We will all miss Amrendar and hope he is looking down at us...RIP.
