--------------------------------------------------------------
Nancy Flesher (Lambros)

Just some brief history regarding Nancy. As you may know Nancy was on the Buddy Deane Committee in the late 50s till about 1960,61. Up until her death she loved to dance.
After she graduated, she worked for H.U.D. as a secretary for a senior administrator. As I mentioned we were married on July 1, 1962 while I was still in the Navy.
Nancy quit work in the fall of 1963 to begin our family which eventually consisted of 2 daughters and a son. Later our family grew to 7 grand children and 1 great grand child
After the children were grown and had a family of their own Nancy was licensed as a cosmetologist, and became a Counter Manager for Clarins of Paris, at Macy's in White Marsh Mall.
She was very popular and women would actually travel from the West side as her customer. With her warm personality and beautiful smile she would "light up the store when she would come in to work" as quoted from the women she worked with.
I know I told you about the 600 or so that attended my dear Nancy's memorial services, in Delaware and a week later in Baltimore. By explanation, Nancy and I became one of Jehovah's Witnesses in July 1971 and in so doing, gained a world wide Christian family. Their love for her was attested too by so many traveling from different parts of the country to support our family. I will be quite honest with you I learned that when many found out about Nancy's death both men and women wept publicly.
A dear lady that we only became acquainted with when we moved to Delaware in 2008 who is in her lat 80's and was a missionary in Central America wrote me and said in summary, that Nancy epitomized what a christian, woman strives for. She commented that others worked hard at what seem to come naturally for Nancy. She also said that if one is fortunate, they may in a lifetime meet someone with Nancy's qualities and said she hoped I realized how blessed I was to have been her husband.
I apologize if I have gone on a bit, but honestly I have only scratched the surface, she was so self sacrificing and unassuming. I hope how clear it is to you how much I dearly continue to love her.
Sincerely

Nick Lambros
