Well, I've done it, LOL, I'm finally retiring from the VA. 8/31/23 will be my last day. I will transition from our Asheville NC apartment behind the VA into our retirement house in Old Fort NC. Dave is still working in the apartment complex office and most likely won't be too far behind me when he finally decides to retire, then he'll give up the apartment and join me in our house. I still want to work part time doing something, what, I don't know, I'm looking. Love our house setting, so tranquil, quiet, peaceful. Thought I'd push full time working at the VA for another few years, but nope, it dawned on me, it's time to take my life back and enjoy some freedom, LOL.
