Carnie Fryfogle

August 1, 2015: A 66-year-old Maryland man was killed following a crash Saturday night at Susquehanna Speedway in Newberry Township last night, the York County Coroner's Office said.

 

Around 11:25 p.m. Saturday night, officials said Carnie Fryfogle of Manchester, MD was driving in a race when he lost control towards the end of the race, rolling his vehicle several times before it came to a stop, officials said. Fryfogle was pronounced dead at the scene.

 

The cause of Fryfogle's death has been ruled blunt force trauma to the head, manner accidental. officials said.

 

Officials said Fryfogle was in full racing gear. There will be no autopsy.

 

Newberry Township officials are investigating the crash.

Carnie was a great friend I grew up back in granite with the Fryfogles family ,His father Big Carnie was a good man and his mother mae was a very nice women he had a brother Dale n a sister trudy we all grew up in granite
