Amy Williams Jacobs

Jason (c/o '95) and I married in June of 2001, and I graduated from LSU with a B.S. in Accounting in 2004. I've worked as Church Accountant at Blackwater United Methodist Church ever since. Levi was born in 2005. He looks just like his dad!

Jason is the Youth Director at Blackwater, and he also heads up the PDO program. We're all at work together, and Levi goes to the Children's Building with his dad. It's pretty great!

Even though I was raised in church, I never knew the unbelievable joy of Jesus Christ until February of 2008. I've been striving to know him more, and to share God's love with others.

I ran track my first two years of high school, and I was on the flag team for the second two. While some of these memories are great, I have tons of regrets, as well. My regrets stem from caring more about what people thought of me and about "fitting in" than about loving others and standing up for what I believe in. I hope in the past 10 years that I've learned more about how to love and serve others, unconditionally.
