Paul was such a great guy. We became close after graduation. I was with him throughout his struggles with cancer. I saw him just the week before he passed away, and he never let his friends know about his suffering. I introduced him to his fiancee, Shawna, who he dated a number of years and who was also with him to the end. When she called me with the news of his passing, it's a day I will never forget. I was in total shock. It's true that the good die young. I miss him to this day.
