Demetra Turner Hi, Tammy sorry you won't be able to make would have love to see you. How is your father doing? I haven't seen him in a while. I know he goes back to Mexico, but i also know he had been sick.

Frederick "Fred" Blanche, IV Hey All, Would love to take part in the nostalgic therapy session this summer but the family will be in France/Spain then. I would like to submit a blanket apology to anybody I may have upset, angered, hurt, rolled your parents house, burnt a "T" into their yard, made big ruts in their yard from my cars front wheel drive while chasing Fred Blanche, or kissed without asking in my short lived tenure at Tara. My mom always said guys mature much, much slower than girls. Unfortunately for my wife, there isn't much of a difference from my maturity level back then as compared to now. Although I do use a fork these days.....

As per the advice from my attorneys I must make it very clear that (to the best I can remember)I was never chased, caught nor kissed by one Steven "hunk-o-burning-love" Coats. There may have been part of our souls left on the Indian Mounds but that was purely a spiritual experience nothing physical at all. All further accusations should be directed to the law firm of "Dowee, Sueum and How"

In an effort to refute Mr. Blanche and his rebuttle as to never being kissed by one Mr. "Hunk-o-burnung-love" Coats, I will submit to all of the jury a picture of Mr. Blanche, Mr. Coats, and a few other unrecognizeable faces at "Boxcar Willie" one lazy afternoon when we should have been in badmitton class....as soon as we are able to locate said pic.

As to the reference concerning the Indian Mounds, Mr. Coats admits leaving part of his soul with Mr. Blanche at said mounds, along with the mountain top in Mexico, and NUMEROUS times in the country....

Lets not forget the I 12 rest area, Amite river, back of the truck, falling off the back of the truck (which is sort of like "falling off the wagon") Hoo Shoo Too house, boys room and Sara's room (oops). Now that being said or typed, the aforementioned items are just chapters in a fictional book Mr. Coats and I have been working on FOR FRICKIN' 20 years.

By the way, has anyone started getting gray hairs yet?

Stephen Coats I'm thinking we might need an arbitraitor to step in and decide this one Freddy....Your memory really surprises me...i'm VERY impressed...But my attorneys have advised me not to comment on any of the aforementioned incidents, because my recollection certainly needs some refreshing, or maybe even some shock therapy....i had forgotten about the falling off the truck incident....oh man

Joe Buckholz Just like to say thanks to Dawn and Michelle for getting this site up and the reunion going!! I'm hoping to make it down there from up here in Missouri, but if I don't I want everyone to know it was great seeing everyone again through this website and possibly catching up in the near future!!!

Patrick Solomon sure steve....but i think you will have to bring your own flag for the table (i dont think they have those anymore). I'm sure we can have a few laughs at the reunion.....thank god for the statute of limitations.

Lisa Guice This website is great!! I have enjoyed being able to "catch up" with classmates. Reading the memories is lots of fun! It's good to see everyone is doing well. Thanks for all the hard work putting this site together.

Heather Brian Hey all... You think we should schedule a bus trip to the reunion, since our last one 20 years ago went so well. If it wasn't for that damn girl in the boys bathroom drinking (opps that was me). But yall are all welcome I took the suspension for us with such grace.

John "Tommy" Buchmann, Jr. I would agree Heather, that was much more graceful than Kirk Smart peeing right in front of an entire family off a pier at False River causing us all to be brought to the station, breathalized and having to call home and tell our parents we were drunk at false river

Patrick Solomon I think that brief encounter with the law (introduction to the legal system) at false river is what has led many of you to become attorneys.....just my opinion.

I'm pretty sure Tara Alumnae aren't allowed to charter buses in the state of Louisiana...EVER AGAIN. But maybe we can all ride the train together at the Zoo???
And I think Pancho's has been closed for quite some time, but if it would encourage attendance at the reunion, I'm sure we could put flags on the tables. We're more than willing to accommodate. However, everyone MUST use the facilities when relieving themselves. NO EXCEPTIONS!!! And yes, Heather, you must use the LADIES' Room....

Heather Brian Ok Michelle... if I remember correctly it was Dawn at the last reunion in the boys bathroom... I was only in there for support and to hold her hair back from the toilet since I am such a great friend.
