Stephen Wray

"It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone. For part of us went with you the day God called you home. A resident and native of Baton Rouge, he died at 3:45 a.m., Sunday, May 20, 2012 in Lafayette, La. He was 27. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home Wednesday, May 23, 2012 from 5-8 p.m. Visiting resumes on Thursday, May 24, 2012 from 9 a.m. until services at 10 a.m. Burial at Hopewell United Methodist Cemetery in Foxworth, Miss., at 2:30 p.m. Survivors include his father, Percy Stephen Wray; mother, Marla Marcotte Wray; grandmother, Gloria Lange Marcotte; aunts, Nanny Jill Simoneaux, Anita Wray and Gail Wray; uncle, Gary Wray; and special friend, Paige Voivedich. Preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Steve and Joyce Wray; maternal grandfather, Alvin Marcotte; and uncle, Warren Blaine Marcotte. Pallbearers will be Steven Garcia, Austin Carlin, Perez Sevak, Spencer Wray, Larry Mitchell and Shane Dickinson. Honorary pallbearers are Kit Kiebach, Casey Washington, Kenneth Young, Byron Chambers and Bill Farris. Resthaven Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
