 Steven Robert Cady
Steve passed away on July 9, 2025 at his residence in Dublin, Georgia. He attended Kellogg Community College and graduated as a Public Safety Officer. In 1975, Steve married the former Patricia Gregory. In 2004, he retired after 31 years from the Kellogg Company and was employed as a police officer and fire fighter for Emmett Township Department of Public Safety. He was a resident of Laurens County, Georgia for 19 years and was a member of the Masonic Laurens Lodge # 75 in Dublin and was a past Worshipful Master #12. He enjoyed policing, firefighting, his family and grandchildren, his farm, his beefalo and draft horses, reading, the Masonic Lodge and NASCAR. Survivors included his wife, Patricia Cady; a son, Steven R. Cady, Jr. (Desiree); grandchildren, Ayden Cady, Audrey Cady, Averi Cady, Bentley Cady (Blade), Ella Cady, William Cady, Zach Goltz, Devon Goltz, and Cameron Goltz; his sisters Jean Cady Ruthruff (Gordon) and Barbara Cady Clissold (Michael); and nieces Elizabeth Ruthruff Spires (Roger), Ashley White, Karlene White Sulser (Zach) and Jennifer Ruthruff Jones.
