What a tragedy. In school we always had a good time kidding each other. A great personality. Fun to be around. I'm sure her family is devastated. Prayers for the family.

It took me a while to digest the information of Annette's passing. Horrific. A nightmare. I had the extreme pleasure of working with her on our 50th reunion. Her cheerfulness and competence addressing each obstacle as it presented itself helped make that experience a joy. At the reunion before last I was talking to her and to Carol Morgan when Carol said "This woman deserves a crown for all her hard work". Oddle enough, I had one and placed it on Annette's head. She will be missed, and she will be remembered. My deepest condolences to her family and friends. I still can't believe it.

Annette and I have been best friends for over 69 years. I don’t know what I’m going to do without her. I still can’t believe she’s gone.

Craig and I have been married 59+ years, and Annette was the one who introduced us.

I want to call her and be consoled by her words of sympathy after I tell her I’ve lost my best friend, without even being able to say goodbye. Just how am I supposed to go on without her????

But John has been waiting 5 years for her to join him.

I need to be happy they are together again.

Annette was a good friend. I met her when we went to South Western junior high school. We did skits in the junior high talent shows. So sorry that this happened. My sincere sympathy goes out to the family and friends of such a special lady.

Annette Evans and I ran around together at SWJH along with a BIG group of other gals.  Slumber parties were a big thing back then.  We were always referred to as " Annette....or the OTHER Annette".   I feel so sorry for Patti Dix losing her best friend.

It's so enlightening to read classmate comments about Annette.  I knew her of course, but to read about her circle of friends and their memories of her is something very special.  Now I know more about her and also our classmates who grew up with her and ran around together.  So thank you for posting your memories of Annette; it helps the rest of us to know her better and mourn her loss in your lives.
