NVHS Class '68. FEU-IN Class '73. Taught 4 sems (MCH Nursing) in FEU then to Hawaii in 1975. Worked as staff nurse till 1998 then to Staff Development at St. Francis Hospital. Joined Hawaii Dept of Health [now Hawaii Health Systems Corp] in 1989 to present as Inservice Coordinator.
Married to James Danao for more than 30 years now. We gradually put our community activities aside as our 5 grandchildren came one at a time. Prior to that I had been active with nursing organizations in Hawaii having held leadership positions for several years. I still maintain membership to PNA-America through its Hawaii Chapter and Sigma Theta Tau, a USA nursing honor society with international affiliation.
