I had to come write something of the David I knew and miss while remembering him with his gorgeous devious smile..... So here i go.....
David defined with words & actions what it meant to be a REAL friend. He was as fun to be around as he was easy and trustworthy to talk with or listen to. Often David was there for me before I even realized I needed him. This extremely rare intuition and ability to trust it endeared him to me more than I can adequately articulate here. Though not crazy romantic HS sweeties we were tight & junior year (I think?) We decided to be one another's date. We had an amazing time, not that we had any doubt it would be insane fun and madness of course ;). I missed him when I left Bayonne & have not found another friend anywhere near the kind of genuine, real, true gentleman that David was so effortlessly. I now know special people are rare, Some of the people who leave the deepest impressions on our souls are not always on earth as long as we wished they were, but they never are truly gone as they are always & often remembered. Love, peace, & happy memories to David's whole family & all the friends he cared for so deeply. If you can't laugh at a memory of time spent with David.... You probably didn't laugh much in HS :).
