It was the first day of school, September 8, 1970...freshman year....a day many will remember, especially during a lightning storm.  It was the day two of our classmates lost their lives on the football practice field.  A memorial rock and plaque honoring Arny Finkle and Robert Jacobs has been in the same place on the old football field until now.  

Join us, Friday night, October 14th at 7pm at the new Beachwood High School football stadium.  Yes, BHS now has "Friday Night Lights" football.  The football stadium and field have been substantially upgraded with a multi-million dollar investment and the rock has been moved to a new location. 

During the pregame, there will be a special announcment about the memorial rock and Arny and Robert as well as a balloon release in remembrance of our friends and classmates.  We welcome any and all of you to attend the game as we "re-dedicate" the memorial rock.  We will also have a special reserved seating area for our Class of 1974 friends.  Please send any comments or ideas about this special occasion to BHS.Classof74@att.net or amalitz@sequoia-wellness.com.
