Steven H Miller

Steven H Miller

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Dr. Stephen Harlan Miller, age 67, of Las Vegas, Nevada.
Stephen was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Bernard and Rose Miller, the third of six children. He is a graduate of Northwestern University Feinberg College of Medicine and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at The Cleveland Clinic.
During the length of his career, he practiced medicine in Las Vegas, Nevada and was recently retired.
He is esteemed for his dedication, compassion and intellect by all who knew him. Many of Stephen's patients recount their gratitude for his diligence and kindness. He made himself available at all hours. Beyond his private practice patients, he provided medical care and friendship to retired members of the NFL and especially his beloved friends at the Federal Bureau of Investigation. He did this not for monetary returns but out of deep love and respect for those under his charge. He received many accolades over the years including an award presented to him by James Comey, Director of the FBI, a Scholarship Foundation at Northwestern University College of Medicine funded and gifted by an appreciative patient.
Stephen never hesitated to put others well being ahead of his own. He beamed with love and pride over his children and their various accomplishments. Forever their father, he will watch down upon them with that same love and adoration.
Stephen is survived by his children Rose, Dustin, and Jason Miller as well as his siblings David (Helaine) Miller, Dr. Larry Miller, Dr. Michael (Dr. Susan) Miller, Dr. Laura (Dr. Mark) Faruque, and Dr. Amy (Ted) Claypoole). Also to be remembered are his loving and loyal friends and the countless lives he touched.
He is predeceased by his son Chad Miller and his parents Bernard and Rose Miller. He grieved their loss with astounding intensity. Not to be forgotten are his beloved St. Bernards: Sagamore, Prozac, Nala, Shecky, and Bubba Miller.
A small Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2024 to honor his life by invitation only.
