Joyce and I went to separate schools, until High School. However, she spent summers in my neighborhood at her Grandparents home. She lived not far from there. We spent many summers playing together as children. Although we lost touch, I remember her fondly.  And strangely, earlier today I received a facebook friend request from her.

Joyce and I started school in Patterson township and our class was a very close group throughout 9 years . She will truly be missed by all of us from patterson. High school she was friends will everyone as well as being football and prom queen.
Our paths again came together while she work for BIMA Medical group & with me in VIMA then Cardiology group.
I am so saddened that I was unaware she had been sick in this past year with the pandemic which effected all of us.
May she rest in peace and bless her..🙏💕💓

So sorry to learn about Joyce being ill this past year. I remember how much fun and nice she was in high school. I will be keeping her family in my thoughts and prayers during their time of sorrow. I know our class will miss her very much.

So sorry to hear of Joyce's passing. Remembering the fun times at BFHS and how vivacious Joyce was then.  Especially thinking of her family as they deal with the loss of both parents in such a short period of time.  Peace be with Joyce, her husband, and all of her family.

Until I saw Joyce's obituary I was not aware that her husband had died just two weeks before her.  The last two weeks of her life would have been very difficult for Joyce and her family dealing with Joyce's failing health and the death of her husband.  Joyce was a very sweet person and she changed very little in her life.  The last year of her life she lost weight.  I went to her viewing and Joyce would have been proud of her son, Brent, daughter, Stefanie and her five precious granddaughters.  They are a very special family and enjoyed many special memories with their parents and grandparents.  Enjoy Heaven Joyce  and I think one of the first persons you got to see was the love of your life, your husband.

Like all of the classmates/ many happy memories of Joyce and I can see her on the throne as I bleieve Prom Queen.  I'm sure it is very hard on the family to loose both Joyce and her husband, but for both of them , they are rejoicing in each others company and in perfect health again.
