Scott Rusch Moser, 29, beloved son and only child of G. William and Janet Moser, passed away unexpectedly July 5, 2001. A graduate of Beaver High School and Carnegie Mellon University, Scott was a gifted violinist and musician. He studied at the Meadowmount School of Music and the Chautauqua Institute and toured Europe with the Pittsburgh Youth Symphony and the North Carolina School for the Arts. During his career Scott played with the Pittsburgh Pops Symphony, Pittsburgh Opera and Ballet Orchestra, West Virginia Symphony, Wheeling Symphony, Youngstown Symphony, Akron Symphony, Westmoreland Symphony, Harrisburg Symphony, Erie Symphony and other orchestras. Scott was preceded in death by his beloved grandfather, Rusch Ketterer, and grandparents George and Thelma Moser. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his grandmother, Winifred Ketterer and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and loyal friends. Interment was private. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, Sewickley, PA at 1 PM on Wednesday, July 18. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Ministry of Music at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, Sewickley, c/o Robert Manuel, or the Music Ministry of the Fox Chapel Episcopal Church, c/o Clark Bedford. "But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him. He ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him." Luke 15:20. Arrangements were personalized by the GABAUER FUNERAL INC. at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester, PA.
