Glenn E. “Flick” Flickinger Jr., age 73 of Beavercreek, passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2019. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Flick retired from Republic Services with over 30 years of service. He had also worked at McCalls for 18 years. Flick enjoyed fishing, gardening and playing with his dog. He was also a Cleveland Browns, Ohio State Buckeyes and Cincinnati Reds fan. Flick is survived by his wife of 20 years: Tana (Winchek) Flickinger, daughters: Krista (David) Schenck of Union, Kara (Tim Connors) Engle of Tipp City, step children: Randi Hamblin of Kettering, Aaron Hamblin of Kettering, April Frederick of FL, grandchildren: Bella, Ellie, Devon, R.J., Jake, father-in-law: Ron Winchek of Huber Heights, relatives, friends and special dog: Maxine. He was preceded in death by his parents: Glenn and Gladys (Richards) Flickinger Sr. Funeral Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
