Dennis E. Harp, 64, of Xenia passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2011 @ Miami Valley Hospital. He was born November 16, 1946 in Dayton, OH to Evelyn and the late Jack Harp. He is survived by his loving wife Gerry (Smith) Harp of 46 yrs, daughter Regina (Derek) Heim, son Dennis Jr. (Tracy), grandchildren Megan (Deidra Crockett), Kirstann & Dennis III, 3 brothers Mick (Donna), Robert & William Harp, numerous sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and many close friends. He was a member of St. Brigid Catholic Church, Xenia. He graduated from Beavercreek High School class of 1964, member of the Athletic Hall of Fame, and an avid sportsman and fisherman. Memorial Mass will be held 11am Tuesday, August 2, 2011, at St. Brigid Church, 312 Fairground Rd., Xenia, with Rev. John Krumm officiating. Visitation will be from 5-8pm Monday at the Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 N. Detroit St., Xenia. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
