REES, Gary L. Age 62 of Wilmington, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, Sept. 15, 2006 in his home. He was a 1962 graduate of Beavercreek High School and was a loving husband and father. Gary served in the National Guard for 5 1/2 years and was an employee of DP&L/Vectren for 44 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Alice Rees. Gary is survived by his beloved wife of 39 years, Diana Rees; his sister, Mary Johnson of Centerville; his two children: son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Christine Rees, of Kettering; daughter and son-in-law, Catherine and Mark Cloran of Plain City; step-grandson, Solomon Patton; granddaughter, Lauren Rees, both of Kettering, and his mother- in-law, Hester Yearling, of Wilmington. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 19, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Chester Friends Church, 3463 Gurneyville Rd.
